This company was established in 1994 from previous foundry plants of KZ after organisation changes. Production of castings in Kralodvorske zelezarny Slevarna Ltd. (Foundry Ltd.) takes up again an historical tradition of local ferrous metallurgy and is realised most of all by automatically molding line +GF+, completely brought up-to-date in the year 1984. In 1993 production of ductile cast iron extended the manufacture programme and nowadays creates most of the production line (aside from grey cast iron). Foundry of casting is possible thanks to its good equipment to be able fulfil a wide range of market requirements for quality iron castings with the accent on long-series and large scale production of castings of weight category 3-100 kg and handmould peices up to 500 kg of weight. One branch of Foundry is concentreated for the production of rolls for rolling mills and heary low scale castings. Slevarna Ltd. is also an active member of Czech Foundry Federation.
