Its first products were leaving this factory at the beginning of 20th century. Since 1938, KZ Valcovna za studena s. r. o. (Cold Rolling Mill Ltd.) started the production of cold rolled steel strips. The product range was extended by carbon and alloyed steel in 1954. Consequently in the 1970s, the production of stainless and special steel strips started production. A new CR Mill, providing strap production of width up to 550 mm, with very precise thickness and prime surface quality, was opened in 1984. Valcovna za studena s. r. o. was established in 1994 as a subsidiary of Kralodvorske Zelezarny a. s. This cold rolled steel producer has a significant market share in the Czech Republic. The CR Mill is situated on the site of its parent company, in Kraluv Dvur. The quality of the company's products and services is ensured by an ISO 9001, QS 9000 and VDA 6.1 certificate.
